Five weeks.
Five weeks ago he had the world at his feet.
Five weeks later we celebrate he can touch his nose with his finger.
Five weeks
It was a quiet day. Little to report other than the strong grip Darryl gave my hand when I read him the poem I wrote last night. Each day I share a moment of quiet motivation and encouragement and today it was that.
It was a decisive grip and I could feel the determination in his clench.
Five weeks.
Five weeks since a journey to a place far away.
Five weeks past on the long way back.
Five weeks.

And we all quietly celebrate with you as we read that he has touched his nose, and smile when we read of the decisive grip – his hand in yours … he’s making you proud all over again and he knows it.
Congratulations Darryl, and to everyone fighting with him and for him.

well well Darryl,
impressed us all!
Not much new up here,mums going to canada 4 three months on friday,im goin to stay with dad which will be different<haha shes doing an corse out the back the rockys in the whops with all the bears and cougars aahhh scary,but shel have an awesome time.Mid year boring examz next week but big ball in july,exciting.AWESOME to hear your improvements always thinking of you cant wait to have a good laugh with you again and see that smile
